Nostalgic.

Highschool Memories is and will always be nostlagic. I posted this line as my status in FB. It all started when a 4th year student PMed me. I was in 3rd year when I met her and her classmates, and it was because of my council duties. :/ Anywayss back to subject, now that I'm on my 2nd year in college, she and her batchmates are now HS Seniors, she PMed me and asked for some advice. She asked kung mahirap daw ba yung USTET, kung yung ganitong course daw ba quota, then she asked "gaano po ba kahirap ang college?"

And this is what I replied: "Mahirap ang college, kasing hirap ng HS. Kailangan mong mageffort para pumasa. Yung mga prof, hindi ko makikilala. Pero masaya din ang college, kasing saya ng HS lalo na pag tapos na yung 'adjustment period' mo. Mahirap na masaya."

When I was in 4th year, I wanted to go to college so bad na, kase the same monotonous cycle of HS began to bore me , so I said. I want to try something new, feel something, be in some place different, study in a school where in I don't know anybody and no body knows me. Time flew and graduation came, and I ... cried. Because I was 100% sure that I was going to miss everything. The teachers, the morning bell, the Alma Mater Hymn, my classmates, morning masses, EVERYTHING. I cried because I knew that I wouldn't be able to reverse time and do everything again. I knew that the only possible way in which I could relive those memories are through browsing pictures. Nothing more, nothing less.

Highschool brings back A LOT of good memories. I've met LOOAAADS of awesome people, I learned TOOOONS ffrom the best teachers. But just like many other things in the world, highschool ended, chapter closed and it IS AWESOME.

cue tear-jerker song here:
