The lady dropped her bracelt. She was running too fast. She was trying so hard to escape, escape the past that is slowly coping up with her. Her bracelet was gold, as gold as her auburn hair when it is touched by the sun. Tears were rolling fast from her green eyes down to her red lips. The grief in her eyes is covered by the smile that she has always worn.
She sat down in an empty swing, too busy to notice that a guy with blue eyes and faded jeans is staring at her. He went behind her and he started pushing the swing slowly upward. This surprised her because she didn't even know the guy. But what bothers her most is the way she feels whenever she looks at in his deep blue eyes, it was like magic.
"I think you dropped this." the guy said. "I saw you earlier you look troubled. Is there a problem?" he asked with his eyes full of concern. "I'm running away from the past. I'm scared that it might catch up with me and destroy me little by little. " Then the woman looked at the bracelet. "That bracelet is the only reminder of it." Then she bursted into tears. He got a handkerchief, wiped her tears and pulled her face closely to his.
"Tears from someone like you is more precious than gold, so be careful not to spill it. not even a drop." he whispered and smiled. The lady held the handkerchief and continued to wipe the tears away. She looked up and was aout to say Thank You to the stranger but there was no trace of him, no other footprints in the playground sand but her's. o trace, no reminder expect for a pink hanky with laces and the lady's name embroideered on it.
FELICITY, meaning happiness. && yes it was hers. (:
