#INEEDMOTIVATION

I lost my motivation, my will to do better this semester. I had it in my grasp weeks ago and yet now, I feel like it escaped and I don't know where and how would I get it back? I suddenly had the urge to blog. Why? To be honest, I'm just trying to avoid my assignment for Socio. I know it's almost midnight and I haven't started a thing yet. Which leads me back to the reason why I blogged tonight...I lost motivation. The timing pretty much sucked since there are a lot more things to do. Broadquest is... a month away? An article review is also patiently waiting for me. Reports and other stuff, all piled up! It's just now that I realize that I do have mountains of work to do and yet here I am, staring blankly at them.

Why am I doing this? Why did I all of a sudden felt as if... something is wrong? Felt as if...I'm meant to be somewhere else doing other things?

I trust God. I know He wouldn't put me here in wherever I am for no reason. I just have to wait and let things fall into place, in order for me to see the beauty of the whole picture. For now, I guess, I should stop whining and start doing this. It's not going to finish by itself. Le sigh. One day, I'll see the point of this.

Too much festivities.

This week was sooo jampacked! UST celebrated the closing of 400 years, that's why. :) I feel really happy because I'm lucky to be part of these celebrations. We've seen not just the opening but we've been there the whole time the university was celebrating. So yea.

So last Jan. 25, an activity entitled Velada Tomasina was held. Everyone was asked to wear Period costumes and if there's none, we could wear Filipinianas. I really panicked a day before because we were not really sure if AB was required to wear costumes. Thank God I have a friend who still has her Filipiniana. Grabe! Everyone looked so pretty the day after. Ladies in Filipiniana, security guards looked like Guardia Civils of the 19th century, men who looked like ilustrados. It was really fun. I really am glad that my mom won a camera. HAHA! Everything was picture op! I even went overboard and used sepia mode. HAHA!

January 27 was unfortunately, still a class day. It depended on the professor if class would still continue. Cheermania on the morning. AB WON 1ST RUNNER UPPP~ I have friends in AB Synergy and I'm so proud of themmmm~ *hugs* Champion was still Commerce, their performace was just so... awesome. -.- Swear. There was also the Quadri Fiesta in the evening. FREE FOOOOD~ Chooks and Lechon again. We just bought rice in Red Cinnamon and voila! We were so full. Even though they gave smaller proportions this time. After that we went straight to the field for the concert. The concert was a bit bland. :| The transitions were too slow. But I have to say that set-up for the grandstand was awesome. I HEARD ZIA QUIZON LIIVEEEE!~ And her voice was...UGGGH. I was so envious. :| It was too good. We left around 11PM.

I must say that fireworks? Are more awesome in UST. It's just sad that I wasn't able to see the whoooole pyromusical. We were at the QPark na kase waiting for the free food. AHAHA! I even heard a guy waiting in the line say: This food is not worth it. You know what, it still is! HAHA!

I saw the sun rising in the East.

Her voice is too good. I fell inlove with THIS song which is originally sung by Jason Mraz and THIS cover by Christina Grimmie. Her voice just gave me goosebumps. I is envious.

In other news, results of the Prelims Exams might come out this week and I'm praying so hard that I pass everything. :( Especially RC. Repeat 100x. AND, this week there will be another Universtiy Fair! It will be for the closing of the Quadricentennial year and the opening of the 5th century of UST, I guess. Does that even make sense? =)) Get this, on Wednesday, they have this activity called Velada Tomasina wherein students and personnel will dress up in Period Costumes. It's just encouraged though. Thank God because I don't know where I'll get a costume if ever it was recquired. :/ Then there will be the 40,000 voices on the 27th and another concert! OYEA. \m/ Looking forward to this. :>

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYONE~

Start the year right!

No. I won't jot down my new year's resolution this year. Why? Because I always end up NOT doing them. Which is not good. Sabi nga nila, 'word without actions are empty', kaya ang mga resolutions ginagawa, hindi lang nililista. I don't know what came over me but I wrote that line and made it as my status in FB. Just stating the obvious, I guess. These things are easier said than done, now the real challenge is to turn it the other way around! :)

This year I plan to write more short stories, to expand my horizon and to finish the ones I already started. I'm not the OMG-you're-a-genius type of writer but still I like squeezing those creative juices every once in a while, just for them to not run dry. ;) I'll let OTHER people read it, I swear I'm shy when it comes to other people reading my works. I guess I'm just scared na they might not like it. I'm sorry I have this very bad habit of 'trying to please people'. I hate it sometimes. :(

NEXT PLAN! Pursue ART! =))))) Seriously! They say that Passion and Practice are needed in this field. I guess they forgot a vital ingredient in this recipe, and it is: SKILL. Something which I unfortunately, don't have. :)) I'm a frustrated artist, remember? Well, I could doodle, BAH. Does that even count? =)) But seriously, I would love to try painting. I love the mixture of colors and the effects of the shades. <3 Photography is connected with art right? So, I'll try taking shots using my Powershot. Nah, it's no SLR, but remember what they say: it's all about the photographer.

RF: I really want to be a freelance photographer and events planner someday.

Dear reader, those two are my plans for this year. They are both ACHIEVABLE so I should accomplish both... or even just one.

2012. Such a controversial year. According to the Mayan Calendar, this is the year where in all this is going to END. Whether this is true or not, I do not know. We should always remember to treasure everything we have and LIVE EVERY MOMENT because there will be no repeats or rewind, so whatever happens in the end we wouldn't be sulking in a corner, thinking about what ifs'.

A year older.

I missed this.

I missed the feeling of writing whatever because people who know me personally wouldn't be able to read it since not everyone knows I post stuff here. I miss pouring my heart out in every post. This year I learned the art of using a planner. HAHA! Thank my blockmates for this. I've been more organized and I seldom forget things na. THANK GOOOODDD! But that's not all, my planner also became a diary/ journal. That't why I seldom post, because I was too lazy to go online and log in to blogspot to type whatever I want to say. OT: I'm inlove with POST - ITSSSS and COLORED PENSSS! =)))

Ahhh. The year is about to end, we're only a day away from year 2012. A lot has happened, oh yes. Both good and bad, but these things shaped us to become who we are today.

In other news, I turned 18 yesterday. And no, I didn't hold a party just like the others. Why? Well for me, it not practical. To spend 100 thouPHP for just a night, FOR ONE FREAKING NIGHT, it's not worth it. I'd rather ask them to buy me an SLR. ;) But ofcourse, that's just me. Well, I spent it with my family in Music 21. It's a KTV Bar in Malate. We spent 3 hours singing karaoke, babbbyy! It was so fun! I couldn't ask for a better way to celebrate.

I'm very thankful for having such an AWESOME family. Actually, I'm very thankful for A LOT of things. Being able to wake up every morning, the friends that I've gained, the love that I feel, the people around me. I'm very thankful that the Lord has given so much even if I know that I deserve less. God is forever SUPERB,

I haven't updated for ...a month. A whole month. HAHA! So, what have I been doing for the past month or so? Well. The picture above says it all. All CASAns sophomores were stressed due to an event called MarkStrat. Markstrat is the culminating event for our major BA5 or Marketing Principle.

To give you a background, every team would be given an account, ours for example is NikNok Manok (P.Noval Branch), then the class should think of strategies on how are they going to help the account to boost their sales.

CA1 run with all 3 major awards. :) Their account was KFC, they did SOOO well. But, I'm still proud of CA.TRES! WE DID GOOOOOOOD. *musictomyears*

I believe I've been awesome this week.

...I deserve a pat on the back. :P

So guyssss, how's life? HAHAHA <-- I've been using that line too much because of my blockmate. She's so cute. Anyway. In other news: PRELIMINARY EXAMS are now OVERRRR. Hell yes. I'm sorry for not updating this for like, a month or so. I've been busy. I conclude that the higher your year level is the lesser amount of sleep you get. Ohmaaaii~ I'm only a sophomore and I get to sleep for like 3 hours what more if I'm a Junior with TV Prod and other majors? Only the other night I slept at 4.30AM. -.- I was dozing off when my mom opened my door and asked me if I already slept. Blame my major subject for this. :|

I just hope I pass everything. I seriously don't like the feeling of failing. I mean, who does? And for now, I'll be leaving you guys with a picture of me wearing an awkward smile, picture was taken during Jona's debut.

..and yes, I will never be thin. It's in my built, I guess. Boohoo. But who cares? I love food more than I love SOME people. =))
